I have been seeing patients privately for nearly 20 years. During that same time for 17 years I was the clinical coordinator for a hospital-based rehab detox and psychiatric unit. I additionally served as clinical adviser for Drug Court for seven years and sat on Council for post, long-term incarcerated clients creating their discharge plans. I facilitated groups in minimum and maximum incarceration facilities for both men and women. Through these experiences I gained insight and familiarity with Forensic Psychotherapy.
I graduated in 1999 from SUNY at Stony Brook with an MSW (Masters in Social Work). I spent an additional three years doing postgraduate in Psychotherapy at the Weber Institute, and have also earned Certification in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy. In South Carolina I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker in Clinical Practice.
I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
I currently reside in Aiken, South Carolina, where I care for a thoroughbred named Trooper, and two canine rescues Zeus and Max (the blur).
I accept Medicare and Out of Network.
